1. Scope of Work
Therez Fleetwood Designs creates original, handcrafted textile artworks, including wearable art garments and textile compositions, developed through artistic research, symbolism, and hand construction.
All works are considered original works of art, not mass-produced fashion items.
2. Commissioned Works
All commissions are custom, artist-led interpretations inspired by a selected artist, theme, or cultural influence.
3. Artistic Discretion
The artist retains full creative discretion regarding:
Client input is considered during consultation; however, final artistic decisions rest solely with Therez Fleetwood.
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
Failure to remit final payment may result in delayed delivery.

Wearable works are designed to be worn with care.
9. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All works remain the intellectual property of Therez Fleetwood.
The artist retains all copyrights, including reproduction and derivative rights.
Clients may not reproduce, license, or commercialize the work without written consent.
The artist reserves the right to photograph, document, and display the work for portfolios, exhibitions, publications, and promotional use.
10. Exhibition, Loans & Publications
The artist may request the opportunity to include commissioned works in exhibitions, publications, or retrospectives.

13. Force Majeure
Therez Fleetwood Designs shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply disruptions, or health-related interruptions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a commission inquiry, paying a deposit, or acquiring a work, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.

Therez Fleetwood Designs creates original, handcrafted textile artworks, including wearable art garments and textile compositions, developed through artistic research, symbolism, and hand construction.
All works are considered original works of art, not mass-produced fashion items.
2. Commissioned Works
All commissions are custom, artist-led interpretations inspired by a selected artist, theme, or cultural influence.
- Commissioned works are original creations, not replicas or reproductions of existing artworks.
- Artistic interpretation, materials, and construction methods are determined by the artist.
- Minor variations are inherent to hand-crafted work and are not considered defects.
3. Artistic Discretion
The artist retains full creative discretion regarding:
- Design approach
- Materials and textile techniques
- Symbolism and visual interpretation
Client input is considered during consultation; however, final artistic decisions rest solely with Therez Fleetwood.
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
- All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD).
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate any commission.
- The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion and prior to delivery.
- Institutional clients may request milestone-based invoicing by agreement.
Failure to remit final payment may result in delayed delivery.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Due to the custom and artistic nature of the work, no refunds or exchanges are offered.
- If a commission is canceled by the client after work has begun, all completed work remains the property of the artist.
6. Timelines
Commission timelines vary depending on complexity, scale, and current workload.
- Completion dates are estimates, not guarantees.
- Each work is completed when the artistic intent is fully realized.
- Delays due to material availability, research requirements, or artistic process do not constitute breach of contract.
7. Editions & Exclusivity
- One-of-a-kind works are unique and will not be reproduced.
- Limited editions (e.g., three-of-a-kind) are strictly capped and never repeated.
- The artist reserves the right to retain archival concepts or decline commissions to preserve artistic integrity.
8. Wearability & Care
Wearable works are designed to be worn with care.
- Clients acknowledge that these are art objects, not everyday garments.
- Normal wear, fabric aging, or patina over time is considered part of the artwork’s life.
- Care instructions will be provided upon delivery.
9. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All works remain the intellectual property of Therez Fleetwood.
The artist retains all copyrights, including reproduction and derivative rights.
Clients may not reproduce, license, or commercialize the work without written consent.
The artist reserves the right to photograph, document, and display the work for portfolios, exhibitions, publications, and promotional use.
10. Exhibition, Loans & Publications
The artist may request the opportunity to include commissioned works in exhibitions, publications, or retrospectives.
- Exhibition loans will be discussed separately and subject to written agreement.
- Proper credit to the artist is required in all public displays.
11. Shipping & Delivery
- Shipping, insurance, and handling costs are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.
- Risk of loss transfers to the client upon shipment.
- International clients are responsible for customs, duties, and taxes.
12. Institutional Acquisitions
Museums, galleries, and institutions may request:
- Provenance documentation
- Artist statements
- Care instructions
- Exhibition readiness details
Additional documentation can be provided upon request.
